Session Times

Preschool:

Preschool children may attend up 15 Hours of per week for twelve months prior to starting school. 

At Yankalilla children attend two full days. Depending on vacancies children can attend Mondays and Thursdays or Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Full Day Sessions: 8.30am – 3.00pm, Monday & Thursday or Tuesday & Wednesday.

Childcare:

Yankalilla Community Children's Centre is a non-profit government subsidised Centre. We provide a high quality care and educational program for children aged six weeks to five years of age.

Morning Session: 7.30am – 1.00pm
Afternoon Session: 1.00pm – 6.00pm
Full Day Session: 7.30am – 6.00pm

 

FEE STRUCTURE

PRESCHOOL FEES:

Per Term
• $75.00 Session Fee
Optional Cost
• $40.00 Lunch Program Fee

CHILDCARE FEES

• $10.00 Enrolment Fee
• Full Day: $52.00 permanent/ $55.00 casual
• Morning Session: $30.00 permanent / $33.00 Casual
• Afternoon Session: $28.00 Permanent / $31.00 Casual
• Hourly $12

Childcare Benefit is available to help subsidise the cost of childcare based on your family income.

Childcare Rebate is also available when both parents are Working, Study or Training.

Parent Information

Our core business is the provision of a high quality teaching, learning and care service that supports the positive development of each child's wellbeing and enthusiasm for learning.

We believe that each child is important with individual needs, rights and responsibilities. We work in partnership with families, sharing information and working together to ensure the optimal development of every child.

WHAT TO BRING

Each child will need to bring a bag containing the following:

• Healthy and Nutritious Lunch.

• Additional piece of Fruit, vegetable or cheese for fruit time
• Nappies, Trainer Pants, Liners (as applicable)

• At least one change of clothes including underwear and socks (named).

• Sun safe hat - for outside play - all year round.

• Water Bottle filled with water only

It is preferred that children's own special items are not brought from home. Special arrangements can be made with staff in the case of security possessions.

Please ensure ALL items are clearly named.

Playgroup Information

Playgroup is run by a paid coordinator on a Friday mornings from 9.30am to 11.30am. Cost of the Playgroup is $2.00 per family.

Please bring a piece of fruit per child for fruit time.

Suitable for children 0-5 years old.
